Skopje, 3 July 2016 (MIA) - At a press conference on Sunday Ljupco Nikolovski from the Social Democrat Union (SDSM) blamed the Food and Veterinary Agency of being disorganized in its handling of the outbreak of lumpy skin disease. Nikolovski said that the Agency last submitted a report on the situation to the Organization for Animal Health two months ago.

"The report does not list all regions where the disease has been confirmed, and there is no data on places such as Makedonska Kamenica and Kratovo. This irresponsible approach, coupled with the three months of delays in providing the vaccines and the unpaid damages for the cattle that had to be slaughtered show that the VMRO-DPMNE led Government does not have a serious approach", said Nikolovski.
